First Impressions
Silksong is immediately humbling. The combat is faster, more combo-oriented, and infinitely deeper than the original. Hornet's needle attacks feel precise and devastating.
World Design
Pharloom is breathtaking. Team Cherry has created a world that constantly surprises — new environments that shift architectural styles, lighting, and atmosphere dramatically.
Difficulty
Silksong is harder than Hollow Knight. Some boss encounters are genuinely punishing. But the reward for persistence is immense satisfaction. The final area in particular is masterfully designed.
Verdict: Essential
Hollow Knight: Silksong is worth every minute of the wait. It's a generational platformer that raises the bar for the entire genre. Play it.
